Financial Analyst
Job Description
- Performing business analysis and capital planning functions associated with the CPIC process.
- Providing expert advice to guide implementation of CPIC and TBM throughout the agency.
- Working closely with investment owners on compliance with agency standards.
- Creating briefings for investment owners and the client CPIC team, as well as their management, on the outcomes of reviews (e.g., Quarterly Scoring Results).
- Creating high-impact presentations for senior client leaders.
- Creating and maintaining project plans and related documents.
- Developing and presenting CPIC training.
- Working closely with the client CPIC team on day-to-day activities.
- Reviewing and providing feedback on control reviews and business cases in portfolio management tools and in other formats.
- Providing performance analysis and benchmarking with development or enhancement of performance measures/metrics.
- Assisting in evaluating and entering monthly investment and project status data into the agency's portfolio management tool.
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education, plus a minimum of 7 years experience; OR 5 years of experience with a related Master's degree; or a Bachelor's, with a minimum 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor and 2 years of supervisory experience
- Portfolio management experience
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in both written and oral form
- Awareness of general TBM implementation and reporting practices
- Demonstrated experience eliciting requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements
workshops, surveys, business process reviews, and task and workflow analysis - Demonstrated experience critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources,
reconciling conflicts, decomposing high-level information into detailed requirements - Developed problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Experience using ServiceNow
- Experience with process and workflow modeling and business process engineering
- US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance or higher.
- Training or certifications in Agile methods
- ServiceNow Application Developer Certification
