We are currently looking for a new Financial Analyst to join our growing finance team.Due tothe unprecedented situation of COVID-19, MDLIVE has decided to protect ourcurrent and futureemployees by managing our business remotely. This is inclusive of interviewing, onboarding, and each role day-to-day. This role will be based in our Chicago or Miramar office post-pandemic, following the guidance of local health authorities and the CDC.

The Financial Analyst will report to the Vice President, Pricing Strategy and FP&A and will be responsible for providing analytical and business decision support to management team through financial modeling. You will play a key part in creating a process of gathering inputs for monthly, quarterly and annual strategic planning.

What you'll do?

As the Financial Analyst you will play a key role in ensuring MDLIVE's financial planning is healthy and profitable and aligns with business objectives. In addition, you will:

• Develop and maintain monthly recurring management reports such as revenue, costing, and gross margin reporting
• Analyze and accurately report on current trends and present findings to management team
• Coordinate with department owners to present monthly financial update
• Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement
• Assist in forecast preparation, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Conduct thorough research of historical financial data and review accounting transactions for data accuracy
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions

What skills and experience do you bring?

• Bachelor's degree in finance
• MBA is preferred
• 3-4 years' experience in a finance/accounting role
• Proven work experience as a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar role
• Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software
• Expertise in MS Excel (using advanced formulas and pivot tables)
• Familiarity with finance databases
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts
• Demonstrable strategic thinking skills
• Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
