Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst position requires intermediate reporting, modeling, analytical, and communication skills to provide enthusiastic and timely support for strategic and financial initiatives and intuitive, accurate, and informative deliverables across the ResMed SaaS ("Software as a Service") portfolio.

Let's talk about role:

• Contribute to the financial processes of the corporate finance & accounting team with a particular focus on forecasting, reporting, and analysis
• Participate in the development of 6 quarter detailed forecasts for your respective areas
• Collaborate and compile intuitive, accurate, and informative materials and reporting decks for executive and management consumption
• Identify financial data discrepancies and research causes
• Provide qualitative and quantitative support for strategic initiatives across the ResMed SaaS business through
  • Merger and acquisition and corporate development analysis and modeling,
  • Integration analysis and modeling, and
  • Modeling in support of corporate forecasting, budgeting, operations, resource and prioritization planning, and other ad hoc requests,
• Perform other duties as deemed appropriate by the management team
• Follow and support corporate security policies, standards, and procedures as they apply to this role. Maintain customer and corporate privacy standards as outlined by HIPAA.

Let's talk about you:

• Required Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Analytics
• 0-5 years of relevant financial or analytical experience
• Ability to strike a balance shifting between multiple tasks quickly, conflicting priorities, varying workloads, and environmental ambiguity and decisiveness appropriately, typically under tight deadlines and pressures
• Ability to be self-directed and proactive with a results-driven mentality
• Strong analytical skills, particularly an ability to synthesize information, summarize findings, and develop conclusions and recommendations
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and an ability to tailor communication to multiple levels of the organization
• Desire to develop and maintain strong/positive working relationships with internal customers
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to think critically and creatively, preferred
• Leadership team-level communication experience, preferred
• Experience with Netsuite, TM1, Anaplan, Power BI, ADP, Workday, and Salesforce, preferred
