Financial Analyst

The Opportunity:

LifeLoop is seeking a motivated team member for the role of Financial Analyst. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help build out the FP&A function for a growing and exciting business. There's abundant greenfield space to build out models, processes, and general business analytics. This position is remote in Dallas and will require in-person meetings with Senior Vice President of Finance. What can you expect the role to look like:

• Build out forecasting processes to ensure executive leadership has real time visibility to business performance.
• Manage and improve financial models.
• Assist in content and reporting preparation for board meetings.
• Drive monthly performance reporting including departmental spend to forecast.
• Define and measure to key business KPI's.
• Produce and analyze ad hoc reporting as needed.
• Partner with department leaders to track and manage expenses.
• Generate monthly / quarterly / annual reporting and ongoing analysis to show business performance vs. plan to understand over and underperformance against goals.
• Translate data and forecasts into operational insights.
• Provide historical analysis to the business as needed.
• Help lead the annual financial planning process and refreshes as needed.

Skills & Requirements

What we expect of you:

• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, IF statements) and PowerPoint.
• Experience working for a SaaS business and a general understanding of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles for hardware and subscriptions.
• An ability and desire to be in a highly visible role that interfaces directly with the Executive Leadership Team.
• An understanding of key SaaS operational metrics such as Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), Annual Contract Value (ACV), and Total Contract Value (TCV).
• Experience building and maintaining revenue, expense, and cash models.
• Possess strong attention to details and multitask effectively.
• The ability to leverage data to help drive informed business decisions.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Creative problem solving in a startup-like atmosphere.
• Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Zoho and Sage Intacct a plus.
