Financial Analyst

 For Accounting services in the Finance area.

The Technical Part:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Accounting or Finance) and at least four (4) years of previous exposure in Cost Accounting or General Accounting activities within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Devices industry. 
• Bilingual: (Spanish and English)
• Shift: Administrative and according to business needs
• Strict attention to detail and superb analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal relationship, and negotiation skills
• Excellent computer skills in MS Office Suite required; integrated systems preferred.
• Experience in:
  • Cost or General Accounting

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

• Perform month end closing activities (explain variances, post journal entries, actual reporting).
• Review, analyze and monthly report manufacturing variances (Material, Spending, Labor) and/or budget vs actual spending variances).
• Gather financial data (e.g., scrap, volume, labor costs) and analyze it to identify major contributors to variances. 
• Assist with the forecasting and annual operating plan (AOP).
• Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations for assigned areas. 
• Support general and cost accounting reports creation (e.g., Volume/Absorption, Labor Hours). Identify areas of improvement and propose recommendations to management.
• Business partnering with manufacturing and support areas.
• Facilitate the implementation of continuous improvement projects (e.g., automation, waste elimination).
