Financial Analyst

Location:           Hybrid to the Duluth, GA office (remote candidates in the Atlanta area may also apply)  

Job Summary

As a Financial Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to support EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants FP&A function in a high – growth, highly acquisitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Consolidation of financial reports from various business segments
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages on a pro forma basis.
• Analyze variances from budget and from prior periods.
• Calculate and analyze key performance metrics.
• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
• Assist in preparing financial schedules required for audit, tax and due diligence.
• Assist the EPIC Insurance Finance team with any necessary financial analyst and information requests.
• Support the CFO in board level reporting and presentations.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics.
• 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting
• Understanding GAAP
• Experience with financial software applications such as Oracle EPBCS highly desirable.
• Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple business segments and cross – functional teams.
• Intellectual curiosity with a willingness to learn and develop new skills and processes.
• Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Occasional travel required.
