Financial Analyst

Fundbox is hiring a Financial Analyst to join the Finance team! This role will report to the Sr. Revenue Manager. This individual will have the opportunity to work on various projects. We’re looking for a highly motivated individual who thrives working in a fast-paced environment and is excited to play a key role in supporting the launch of new financial products.

In this role, you will...

• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations, primarily focused on revenue and losses
• Collaborate closely with the Business Intelligence team to address database issues and resolve reconciliation differences promptly
• Work with various teams (credit, legal, payment) to facilitate the integration of new products into the month-end close process
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly reporting package and financial metrics 
• Prepare year-end audit PBC and sample selections
• Coordinate with external tax consultant to ensure timely tax payments
• Handle ad hoc requests as needed

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of accounting / finance experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• Understanding of both financial and operational controls
• Ability to manage multiple projects

Pluses:

• Experience with NetSuite, SQL, and/or Tableau
• CPA or progress towards one
• Public accounting experience (big 4 preferred)

Compensation & Benefits

We anticipate the New York base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000 - $135,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the amount the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position across all US locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors (i.e. job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training). The compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only and do not include any bonuses, equity, or benefits.
