Financial Analyst
Job Description
Fluidra is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the team at our West Coast office in Carlsbad, CA.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
This position will have an active role in the monthly reporting and analysis, ad hoc reporting, budgeting, forecasting and projections. The Financial Analyst participates in the reporting and analytics function to support the Americas team. The individual is an expert at data and technology management including data acquisition, mining, analysis, data integrity management, metrics management and reporting. The Financial Analyst has expert working knowledge of the utilization and manipulation of business intelligence through various tools such Oracle, Essbase and Excel. Additionally, you will:
- Track revenues and expenses vs. budget and forecast and analyze fluctuations
- Play a key role in development of annual budget and monthly forecasts.
- Prepare, review and distribute monthly financial reports
- Prepare monthly executive financial package
- Work with various departments and other functional groups to develop and enhance
- dashboards, reports and scorecards. Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and
- financial models as needed.
- Demonstrate superior analytical ability coupled with the desire and ability to execute on deliverables for real world business applications.
- Function as a contributing and effective member of the team, while interacting at all levels of the organization.
- Run reports in ERP system using Essbase or other BI tools.
- Ad hoc reporting as needed from external data base sources.
- Work closely with IT department as liaison for business intelligence reports.
- Provide analytical, reporting, presentation, and Excel support to other departments as
- needed.
- Identify risks and opportunities and bring to the attention of senior leadership teams in a timely manner.
WHAT WE SEEK
- 3+ years previous financial analysis experience in consumer products, durable goods, and/or manufacturing company
- Strong leadership skills (planning, communication, relationship building)
- Expert knowledge of business intelligence tools (OBIEE, Power Bi, Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Oracle)
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (especially advanced level pivot tables)
- Effective utilization of Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel
- Strong business acumen and financial analysis skills
- Influencing and networking skills
- Extensive experience in supporting Sales and Marketing
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, especially with Sales and Marketing executives
- Ability to work within a team environment to achieve results
- Ability to grasp Zodiac Pool System’s (ZPS) short- and long-term priorities
- Daily contact requires courtesy, discretion, sound judgment.

EDUCATION
BS/BA in Business, Finance, Accounting or other related field

Expected salary range is $75,000 - $88,000. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
