Imperative Chemical Partners has an immediate opening for an Financial Analyst in our Finance & Accounting Department. Position can be in Midland, TX, Houston, Tx or remote (with the ability to travel). If you are interested in joining a growing company with a proven track record of success, this is your opportunity!
SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting data, communicating with key stakeholders, and developing recommendations for business improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ยง Create financial models to predict growth and forecast performance.
ยง Build annual and rolling budgets and forecasts for different business units for consolidation into one master budget.
ยง Analyze previous budgets and forecasts while performing variance analysis to explain discrepancies.
ยง Analyze past financial performance, preparing competitor analysis, and examining market trends along with commentary for management.
ยง Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to understand business performance.
ยง Compile detailed monthly financial reports to be communicated to managers.
ยง Lead real-time financial performance monitoring.
ยง Analyze data to facilitate understanding of drivers and identification of opportunities.
ยง Conduct ad hoc analysis as needed.
ยง Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
ยง Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
ยง 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
ยง Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
ยง Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
ยง Excellent communication and presentation skills.
ยง Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
COMPUTER SKILLS
ยง Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI.
ยง Experience with NetSuite a plus.
