Financial Analyst

Overview

An opportunity to join a growing team and help manage the growth of a rapidly expanding, PE-backed enterprise. As part of Insight Global's Finance team, the Financial Analyst will work directly with business leadership, providing proactive financial analysis, updates on performance, and assistance in decision making. This is a high visibility role with direct exposure to divisional leadership and corporate executives. This position will report directly to the Finance Manager, Revenue and Strategic Growth.

Responsibilities

In This Role, You Will

• Become a business partner with divisional leaders
• Analyze financial performance of our divisions and provide updates to leadership along with recommendations on areas for improvement
• Develop detailed quarterly forecasts as well as budgets while working with leadership and the finance team
• Manage forecast to budget, forecast to actual, and budget to actual reporting and variance analyses
• Work cross-functionally to improve business processes across the corporate office
• Partner with sales and analytics leadership to build and maintain visual analytics
• Partner with accounting to ensure an accurate monthly financial close and best accounting practices
• Monitor industry news to gain insights into competitive trends
• Provide insights to the business to make more informed decisions

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, or related field
• One to two years experience with analysis and reporting (Finance, Accounting, Business Consulting, or similar)
• Comfortable with a high-growth, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Forecasting and analytics experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Detail-oriented, flexible, and organized with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Self-starter with ability to work independently, with limited direction, and collaborate within broader Finance team setting
• Previous experience working with cube-based software environments preferred, but not required (PowerBI, PowerPivot, OneStream Dynamics, Oracle Hyperion Planning, SAP S/4Hana, Workday Adaptive, Vena, etc.)
