Description

As the Financial Analyst for the Region, you will support key stakeholders by performing a broad range of financial, analytical, and accounting support for multiple manufacturing locations in your region. You will develop, measure, and actively manage results, ensuring business and reporting needs are met. As the Financial Analyst for the Region, you will be responsible for daily/weekly/monthly accounting tasks related to the various manufacturing locations in your region as well as month-end closing activities. In addition, you will support the Regional Controller and plant leadership in understanding variances in their financial performance and any related data reconciliations.

This position will be located in our Catoosa, Oklahoma office and will work Monday through Friday, standard office hours. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in monthly close activities by preparing recurring and non-recurring journal entries to ensure complete and accurate financial statements.
  • Perform balance sheet account analysis and reconciliations.
  • Analyze actual results in comparison with budget, prior year and/or forecast.
  • Collaborate with Estimating, Cost Accounting and FP&A to help maximize profitability.
  • Provide actionable manufacturing analysis, cost analysis and business partnering to create value.
  • Assist in identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing opportunities to ensure the business is working on the right activities.
  • Serve as an agent of change to help reduce costs and improve EBITDA.
  • Participate in special projects related to ERP system conversions and finance process optimization initiatives.
  • Assist Regional Controller with external audit requests.
  • Travel to regional plants as needed, estimated between 10% - 20% annually.
  • Additional duties as required.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or other demonstrated experience
  • Prior experience working in a high growth, multisite organization.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent analytical and conceptional thinking skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel.
  • Demonstrates initiative, natural curiosity, and effective organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to manage time efficiently, prioritize, multi-task, and adapt to change.
  • Able to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Able to maintain a high level of accuracy in the performance of all job duties.
  • Able to work independently while promoting and maintaining a productive team working environment.
  • Experience using PowerBI.

Training Requirements:

  • Willing to attend required training courses or sessions related to the job as assigned.

Physical Demands:

  • Lifting, sitting, standing, crouching, repetitive tasks, office tasks.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test and subject to random drug screening.

Work Environment:

  • Regular exposure to dust and noise in the production environment.
  • Warehouse environment temperatures may be influenced by outside temperatures.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Safety shoes and eye protection are highly recommended in the production area.

Travel requirements:

  • This position will require occasional travel, up to 20% annually.
