Financial Analyst Consolidations
Job Description
What you will do
Under direction from the Manager of Consolidations and in accordance with Company policies and procedures, US GAAP, IFRS Standards, and SEC rules, this position supports the preparation of financial reports for management related to the consolidation of Company-wide results. This position works closely with various departments, including corporate tax, treasury, and external reporting, along with regional accounting teams.
How you will do it
- Supports the monthly consolidation process to ensure financial reports are prepared efficiently and accurately for senior management.
- Coordinates consolidated reporting matters with corporate and regional colleagues.
- Directs world-wide intercompany activity and reconciliations.
- Prepares and coordinates accounting entries for tax related legal entity projects.
- Supports the reporting of consolidated financial results to the parent company and for the Company's financial reporting to external stakeholders.
- Accounts for activity on corporate holding companies.
- Conducts special studies and analyses as authorized and directed.
What we look for
- Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of experience in private and/or public accounting.
- An understanding of US GAAP and reporting standards.
- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and a drive to achieve both short-term and long-term results.
- Ability to meet firm deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
