Financial Analyst, FP&A

ABOUT THE ROLE 

Peloton is looking for a hard-working, motivated Analyst who will assist our Financial Planning & Analysis team with managing Sales & Marketing expenses. This person will work closely with cross functional teams to provide direct reporting, analytical, and strategic support. The ideal candidate is driven and resourceful, proactive with strong prioritization skills, has the desire to dive into the data but also the ability to look at the big picture. Flexibility will be critical due to the evolving nature of working in a growing business.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

• Own annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting for Peloton’s Sales & Marketing expenses
• Support monthly close process through partnership with Accounting as well as the broader FP&A team
• Track business performance against operating plans and provide monthly, quarterly, and year-to-date variance analysis for management and business leads, including identifying any trends or areas of risks and opportunities
• Assist in preparation of management decks and board of director materials 
• Continuously focus on enhancing forecast methodology and accuracy as well as increasing efficiency through process automation
• Responsible for performing ad hoc financial analyses to support decision-making, predominantly focused on cost investments
• Establish business relationships across the organization and serve as a strategic thought partner with cross functional-teams including Sales and Marketing 

YOU BRING TO PELOTON 

• 2+ years of experience in FP&A / corporate finance / investment banking
• Undergraduate degree in finance / economics / accounting / mathematics preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel / financial modeling skills and proficient in Google Suites (slides & sheets)
• Ability to draw insights from large data sets
• Industry experience in SaaS-based technology companies, retail, consumer products and/or media preferred 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Must be a proactive self-starter with the ability to move workstreams forward independently and under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
• High proficiency and enthusiasm for creating new reports to drive insight into business critical metrics
• Existing ERP knowledge, especially Netsuite, a plus
