Financial Analyst, G&A
Job Description
Peloton is looking for a hard-working, motivated Financial Analyst who will assist our Financing Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting across General & Administrative (G&A) corporate departments. The ideal candidate is proactive, driven and resourceful, with strong attention to detail and a desire to dive into the data. This person will work closely with cross functional teams and corporate leaders to provide budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic support.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON- Support the annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting processes for G&A related departments such as People, Legal, and Accounting & Finance teams
- Support our monthly close and management reporting process through close partnership with the Accounting team
- Prepare monthly and quarterly internal reporting for budget owners and senior management, including the preparation of insightful analyses to explain any variance to plans
- Establish and maintain positive business relationships across key G&A departments and be a key FP&A contact to business partners
- Assist in cross-functional work to evaluate strategic initiatives and associated financial impacts and help to incorporate into financial plans
- Assist in the creation of ad-hoc analyses for cross-functional leaders and management
- Continuously look to increase efficiency through process automation
- 2+ years in FP&A/corporate finance/investment banking
- Educational experience in finance/economics/accounting/mathematics preferred
- High aptitude and enthusiasm for problem solving utilizing financial modeling and analysis with strong attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Excel/ financial modeling skills and proficient in Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, Drive)
- Must be a proactive and highly organized self-starter, able to work independently and under tight timelines
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the organization
- Systems experience with financial planning tools (such as Looker) and ERP knowledge (especially Netsuite and SAP) a plus
- Industry experience in SaaS-based technology companies, retail, consumer products, and/or media preferred
Base Salary: $81,800.00Ā to $106,400.00
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
