Job Summary:

Operations & Technology Finance provides finance, planning and analytical support for the Operations and Technology business unit. Financial Analyst is a key member of the team and provides comprehensive financial analysis by preparing complex analytical and financial reports.

Major Responsibilities include:

• Participate in the budget and forecast process, including associated analysis of financial reports, developing summaries for inclusion in various executive level presentations
• Collaborate with various stakeholders in corporate FP&A, controllers, LOB finance partners, LOB partners on finance topics such as budgeting forecasting and analysis of financial results
• Provide written analysis and interpretation of results; Maintain financial systems or databases
• Maintain a close understanding of business risks and opportunities
• Assist in establishing financial assumptions and critical decision variables
• Perform additional duties and special projects, as assigned
• Support month-end close including variance explanations, accruals, and fixed asset reporting/monitoring

Skills:

• Adaptability is key, as team members must understand our business partners' strategies, and operations, and proactively anticipate and respond to environmental shifts
• Basic to moderate complexity financial analysis; Understanding of data relations and interdependencies
• Aptitude for preparing analytical and financial reports and presentations
• Ability to troubleshoot and coordinate the resolution of financial questions and issues
• Comfortable interacting with other professionals, making presentations, and recommendations.
• Able to work collaboratively, identify best practices and implement process efficiencies

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or quantitative major with 2-4 years related experience; Must have understanding of basic Accounting

• Moderate Financial Management, forecasting and analytical skills
• Some modeling and project experience
• Presentation & written communication skills
• Must have moderate to advanced excel skills

Desired Experience: with Oracle GL, Hyperion Planning and Essbase • Understanding of data analysis and design, and data mapping • Aptitude and experience in using other Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, PowerPoint, Access)
