This Financial Analyst will perform various budget, expense management and accounting functions. Primary responsibilities include project financial management including but not limited to acting as the financial liaison for project planning, cost-benefit analysis, benefit realization, etc. Other responsibilities include analyzing expenses, creating and updating management reports, data gathering and analysis, performing benchmarking, and providing support for the annual Enterprise budget process.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  1. Project-Based Reporting: Drive the project financial reporting process and own cost-benefit analysis, project financial expense tracking and benefit realization of executed projects. Consolidate large volumes of data into easily understood and actionable information. Drive for understanding, how are we doing on expenses, benefit realization, and other key metrics? Where can we invest to have an impact to improve the accuracy of our work, provide more useful information, and speed up delivery to leadership and the business?
  2. Analysis: What trends are emerging on expenses, sales, and other metrics? Can we point out risks and opportunities? Where can we be more efficient? What initiatives are working, which ones need to be reviewed?
  3. Creativity: Designing reports to effectively communicate to a broad audience in a consumable way. Managing large data sets and linking information together to provide new insights

Educational Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other related business field
  • 2-5 years of Finance/Accounting experience
  • Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

Salary Band: 05B

This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, WI, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
