Financial Analyst (Hybrid)

The Financial Analyst is responsible for performing various budget, expense management, and accounting functions. This role will analyze expenses, create and update management reports, gather & analyze data, develop and maintain Enterprise expense metrics and dashboards, perform benchmarking, and provide support for the annual Enterprise budget process. The Financial Analyst serves as primary back-up to the Senior Financial Analyst for expense forecasting, fixed asset accounting, month-end and year-end close processes, and other functions as needed.

As a condition of employment, OneAmerica requires that all new hires who receive a job offer on or after April 18, 2022 provide evidence of full or partial vaccination against COVID-19 within three days of accepting an offer letter with OneAmerica and before employment begins. This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN.The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office Indiana as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.

- Reporting - Assist in the annual budgeting process for the division, manage monthly variances, accruals, and variance analysis. Consolidate large volumes of data into easily understood and actionable information.
- Analysis - What trends are emerging on expenses, sales, and other metrics? Can we point out risks and opportunities? Where can we be more efficient? What initiatives are working, which ones need to be reviewed?
- Creativity - Design reports to effectively communicate to a broad audience in a consumable way. Manage large data sets and link information together to provide new insights
- Projects - Where can we invest to have an impact to improve the accuracy of our work, provide more useful information, and speed up delivery to leadership and the business
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business field
- 1-2+ years experience in a Finance role, preferably in FP&A
- Strong judgment and decision-making
- Professional written and oral communication
- Confident and articulate speaker and presenter
- Forward thinking
- Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
