Job Description

First United Bank & Trust / Durant, OK / Plano, TX / Financial Analyst III. Duties: Responsible for supporting senior leadership in developing financial research, forecasting financial metrics and operating strategic reviews; recommending solutions based on financial data and economic research that will have a critical impact on long-term business performance; leading the strategy and resolution of highly complex challenges on product pricing, portfolio performance, and key forecasting metrics; delivering solutions on long-term strategy for efficient and effective processes in support of providing key financial services such as management reporting, various planning, and balance sheet data; coordinating highly complex activities, with the guidance of others, to implement key risk initiatives; working with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives; leading large company-wide complex projects and initiatives to drive change and success; designing and maintaining a full suite of FTP methodologies; collaborating and consulting with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals. Must have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a closely related field (or foreign equivalent) along with 3+ years of post-degree experience in finance demonstrated by work experience or on-the-job training, or a combination of the foregoing or CFA/CPA certification; 3 years of post-degree experience in a financial analyst role that required performing financial and business analysis, evaluating trends and patterns in business results, and creating financial performance models/ estimates or CFA/CPA certification; 3 years of experience working with Capital, Liquidity, Earnings, Margin Analysis, Acquisition Accounting Analysis, and theory; 3 years of experience in database analytics, including Power BI, Dax, Power Query M, Python and SQL; Identifiable experience producing written analysis of the relationship between various financial statements; and Identifiable experience in Community Banking, Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting, or Private Equity in an analyst capacity. Expected to work two days per week in Plano, Texas, office, and two days per week in Durant, Oklahoma, office. Remote work permitted one day per week. Other than commuting to Plano, Texas, and/or Durant, Oklahoma, the position requires only incidental domestic travel.
