Financial Analyst Intern

Where You Come In:  

KCF Technologies is seeking participants in many areas of study to contribute to our high-performing teams as part of the Future Innovators Internship Program. This 10-week, full-time paid program June 3 – August 9 will take place at our KCF Headquarters in-person, or remotely, depending on where home is for you. With our work from home, work from anywhere policy, the choice of where to work is yours.

Our home base is our headquarters in State College, PA, but you will find KCF Teammates spread across 27 different U.S. States with our flexible remote model. We give you the autonomy to define how and where you do your best work!

Essential Functions:

• Work alongside and provide support to the Financial Planning & Analysis department
• Collect and analyze quantitative data to develop relevant analyses and reports
• Assist with the preparation of financial presentations and ad-hoc requests from company leadership
• Partner with the FP&A team to prepare complex financial models including evaluation of forecasting methods, trend and budget analysis
• Provide assistance and support to company personnel including Executives, Sales and Operations
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor and other KCF leadership staff

Qualifications: 

• Currently enrolled in Finance, Accounting, or other related program as at least a 2nd year student
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel & PowerPoint
• Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills, both verbal & written
• Ability to start an assignment or project from scratch and drive to completion
• Willingness to ask questions, take initiative and be resourceful and inventive
• Highly motivated, self-starting, and independent thinking habits in a team environment
• Insatiable thirst for learning
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadline
