About the Job
We currently have an exciting opportunity for Financial Analyst ll to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team. This individual will be responsible for supporting multiple brands by partnering with various teams and coordinating the financial planning and budgeting process. This will include providing financial analysis, accurate forecasts, and insightful information to help drive positive business results. The Senior Financial Analyst will also provide senior management with conceptual, economic and business analysis necessary to make strategic business decisions.
What You'll Do | Key Accountabilities
- Create monthly and annual plans and forecasts for various P&L and Balance Sheet accounts in a timely manner
- Research and provide explanations during month-end meetings for any large month-end variances vs. financial plan versus last year for various line items
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve reporting process
- Provide insightful financial analysis and strategic insight to cross-functional teams
- Create presentations and other communication materials for executive management and Board of Directors, meetings, earnings releases, investor conferences, industry events, and meetings with analysts and institutional i nvestors
- Support financial and executive management with special analysis and ad hoc reporting
- Work with the Finance Team during the month-end closing process to ensure the financials are accurate
- Additional duties as assigned
What You'll Bring | Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field required; MBA desired
- 5+ years minimum work experience in planning, evaluation, business and financial analysis
- Financial statement (income statement, balance sheet & cash flow statement) modeling and analysis experience
- Ability to translate complex business/financial situations and questions into simple and clear conclusions and communication tools
- Work experience and proficiency with financial and forecasting/budget software applications required; Hyperion
- Essbase and Hyperion Strategic Finance experience strongly preferred
- Understand corporate finance, financial modeling, and analytical tools (DCF, IRR, payback)
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to interface with Corporate
- Executives, Business Management, and functional groups such as Legal, and the CFO of the organization
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with and support cross-functional teams
- High level of initiative and critical thinking to formulate business issues into analytical problems and devise actionable Solutions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where self-motivation and initiative are critical to success
- Ability to access data from financial systems and understand corporate mapping and hierarchy, PeopleSoft experience preferred
- Ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, balance multiple tasks and shift gears on short notice, and concentrate on detailed information in a fast-paced, demanding work environment
- Structured, disciplined approach to work, with attention to detail
Retail financial experience preferred; some retail operational or merchandise experience an asset

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
- Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily.
- Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment.
- Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from a remote office location.

$70,000 - $110,000. We take into consideration an individual's skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
