Financial Analyst, Marketing

Note to applicants: This role has the potential to work remote outside of Austin.

Who You Are:

As Nutrabolt's Financial Analyst you will assist in process improvement and aggregation around team deliverables, share in month end decision-making, partner across the business in determining cost operations, guide cost analysis, coordinate on accounting processes, and generate regular reporting for the marketing and leadership team.

What You're Good At:

• Partnering with marketing leadership to aggregate and report on KPIs, conduct ROI analysis, LTV / CAC analysis and identify actionable areas for improvement
• Maintaining general ledger accuracy - including but not limited to: AR/AP coding process improvement, monthly reconciliation and reclassification of expenses, general ledger department structure modifications.
• Identifying financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts  
• Guiding cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures, providing trends and forecasts, explaining processes and techniques, and recommending actions
• Preparing reports and projections
• Developing and delivering results on a timely basis
• Exploring cost saving opportunities
• Evaluating business proposals and contracts
• Identifying and analyzing trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement
• Coordinating with other members of the finance team to provide financial information and forecasts
• Working cross functionally to provide financial models and forecasting

• In this role your goals and KPIs will be focused around:
  • Accurate forecasting

  • KPI Reporting and Management

What You Contribute: 

• 4+ years of finance experience, primarily in an FP&A/Operational Finance function
• MBA preferred but not required
• Experience working in fast growing, global consumer goods companies
• Ability to work cross functionally to identify and implement solutions to solve problems
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• The ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
• D365, Power BI, and Tableau experience a plus
• Self-starter and persistent with strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-growing team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
