TE Connectivity's Sensors Business Unit is a $750M global business with approximately 4,000 employees, and operations around the world. The Sensors Finance team provides accurate and timely business decision support to the GM, CFO, and business and functional leads through financial analysis and detailed reporting, as part of annual and strategic planning, internal forecasting, standard close activities and other company initiatives.
The Sensors BU has an opportunity for a Finance & Data Analyst as we build out our focus on leveraging analytics to drive business results. This person will provide timely business decision support, financial analyses, capital budgeting assessments, scenario planning and balance sheet impact estimates (e.g. inventory, depreciation).
In addition to financial analysis, a critical function of the role will be working to improve the current data structure and quality along with supporting the connection of business analytics needs with the data analytics spoke. The role will include working across the finance team and other functions to identify the intended business scenarios to be visualized, building the business case including ROI and ensuring the deliverable achieves the intended impact.

Responsibilities:
- Provide relevant financial business decision support cross-functionally throughout Sensors. Business decision support includes financial analyses, predominantly around scenario planning, capital budgeting assessments, balance sheet impact estimates (e.g. modified cash flow, inventory, depreciation), M&A and restructuring (25%)
- Provide financial reporting as required (likely quarterly and annually) in support of TE financial reporting cadence. Key deliverables will include tracking profitability metrics (gross margin and operating margin), and cash and non-cash benefits and expenses on a periodic and cumulative basis (15%)
- Bridge between business teams and analytics spoke ensuring requirements are captured and delivered (15%)
- Deliver meaningful data visualizations that are efficient (automated) and drive impact (20%)
- Support identification of the project ROI and monitor realization (5%)
- Identify and capture sustainable standard processes and continuous improvement around delivery of financial business decision support to the BTO (5%)
- Provide support for other ad/hoc requests (e.g. assistance with executive presentations and readouts, productivity reporting etc.) (5%)
- Gather, validate and consolidate the source information as required to support the above financial analysis activity (10%)
Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance-related field with 2-5 years of work experience.
- MBA a plus but not required.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, for a senior executive audience. Able to tactfully highlight and defend positions in front of senior management.
- Strong analytical skills, able to break down complex problems and develop / suggest solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, SAP, and Hyperion Planning along with familiarity with data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and Think Cell
- Experience presenting and or creating presentations for Senior Leaders Preferred
- Prior Manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong level of intellectual curiosity accompanied by a drive to solve complex problems

Compensation
Competitive pay commensurate with experience: $74K-92K (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
