Job Overview

This position will support existing OpEx financial reporting and analysis by various market sub-verticals in the Sensors BU, as well as establish and improve on future reporting. Additionally, this position will perform analyses and support business partners to address the cost saving actions at Operating Expenses, and investment needed to meet short-term forecast, and align with long term strategic plan. The FP&A Analyst will report to Sensors OpEx Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Partner with Global FP&A team on providing timely monthly actual vs forecast variance analysis and quarterly forecasts so as to meet BU and Segment forecasting /reporting requirement, as well as to provide necessary support to Subvertical General Managers.
• Be responsible for the Excel model for tracking and analyzing OpEx performance against budget by market sub-verticals in Sensors BU.
• Ensure Sensors OpEx cost center master data accuracy. Work with FSSC and HR for cost centers update aligning with the organizational changes.
• Identify and evaluate financial risks and opportunities that may impact Sensors.
• Collaborate across the finance team to create dynamic OpEx dashboards that provides visualization of financial and business insights for leadership team.
• Provide ad hoc financial analyses and assist with special projects as requested.
• To be an expert on Hyperion Planning cost center planning tool and leverage the tool to improve the reporting/analysis to managers. Address efficiency improvement in daily work.
• Continuous focus on TEOA-F, working on process improvement, such as spending by engineering projects, etc. Learn implement the concept of 'Zero-Based Budgeting' support manager for the implementation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor's degree in Business or Finance-related field with 2 years of work experience
• Good team player.
• Good communication skills to build good relationship with business partners and to be able to influence them
• Strong Excel modeling skills. Working experience with SAP, Hyperion Planning and Essbase. Experience / familiarity with data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI a plus
• Comfortable working in dynamic environment and dealing with tight deadlines
• Strong level of intellectual curiosity, ability of digging into details to figure out the problem and find the solution with colleagues

COMPENSATION• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $70,000 - $100,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
