Department Overview

This role supports the Software business, one of the fastest growing divisions of Motorola’s business. In this role you will be a Go-To-Market finance business partner supporting Software sales leadership and helping grow the business.
Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation, analysis, and reporting monthly results compared to plan, forecasts and prior year for Software leadership team and MSI internal reporting
• Understand the relationship of cost of sales to revenue and which levers to manage to drive gross margin.
• Assist in driving and projecting revenue and gross margin through analytics, expense management, and variance analysis and investigation
• Assist with timely and responsive deal support as needed by NA Finance and Software Sales
• Assist with and drive process improvement initiatives
• Ad hoc process as assigned

Additional Knowledge/Skills:

• Strong analytical skills, organization, and curiosity to develop new methods and processes
• Exercises good judgment, flexible, and comfortable working under time constraints and with multiple operating constituents
• Strong system skills including MS Office, Oracle, Tableau and Hyperion are a plus

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
• ​2+ years of experience working in Finance / Accounting / FP&A role
