Learneo is scaling! We are looking for a highly analytical financial analyst with outstanding drive and eagerness to learn. You will join our Finance team reporting to the Director of FP&A dedicated to our fastest growing business, Quillbot. Using a data-driven approach, you’ll help provide clarity around business critical objectives, such as marketing spend, hosting costs, & more. You will provide the leadership team with an assessment of monthly, quarterly and year-to-date financial performance, including analysis of business performance and trends, risks and opportunities. Your work will have direct impact on the continued success of the Writing vertical.
Here are some ways you’ll make an impact!
- Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting by conducting variance analyses against forecast and budget, identifying risks and opportunities and presenting business and financial insights to leaders
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, highlighting trends and causes of change
- Review and provide support for month-end close activities in collaboration with the Accounting team
- Develop tools and resources to drive accountability and insights on spend targets
- Work cross-functionally and support decision making using a data-driven approach
- Assist with preparing financial packages for monthly and quarterly business reviews
- Help drive the deployment of Hyperion for monthly reporting, annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting across the company
- Prepare ad hoc analyses as the need arises
- Assist with the integration of new acquisitions into our planning process and FP&A systems
- Identify areas for process and efficiency improvements
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders across teams and functions
- Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environment
Are you our Financial AnalystÂ
- 2+ years of relevant work experience, ideally in finance and/or analytics at a high-growth company
- Data-driven problem solving, able to find meaning & business drivers within large sets of complex data
- Able to create reasonable assumptions when information is lacking and build logical frameworks to solve problems
- Demonstrated modeling skills (index match, power pivot tables, etc.)
- Supported operational improvement and automation
- Successfully works independently, while knowing when to manage up & ask their manager for support
- Outstanding teammate who is willing to help others even if task is outside of normal areas of responsibility
- Bachelor’s degree, in a quantitative field preferred but not required

We are a virtual-first company and have employees dispersed throughout the United States and Canada. We have a market-based pay structure that varies by location. The base pay for this position is dependent on multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed below. You may also be eligible to participate in our bonus program and may be offered an equity award, benefits, and other types of compensation.
In accordance with California law, the base salary for this role if filled within California is $68,250 - $123,000Â
In accordance with Colorado law, the base salary for this role if filled within Colorado is $68,250 - $104,550Â
In accordance with New York law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York is $68,250 - $116,850
In accordance with Washington law, the base salary for this role if filled within Washington is $68,250 - $110,700
