About the team
The finance team at Argyle is focused on building out a world-class finance organization with the best people, processes, and technology. As a high-growth startup, we work cross-functionally to support the broader organization, while implementing strong systems and processes to scale the organization. The team works very closely together, with opportunities to work on initiatives across accounting, FP&A, and shared services.
What will you do?
Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements using NetSuite ERP
• Lead annual audit process and manage external auditor relationships
• Drive technical accounting research and policy development for complex transactions
• Ensure compliance with all government, investor, and tax reporting requirement

Accounting Operators

• Direct month-end and year-end close processes with strict deadline adherence
• Lead automation initiatives to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
• Develop scalable internal controls and accounting policies for rapid growth
• Oversee AP, AR, and billing operations

Leadership & Collaboration:

• Build and mentor a high-performing accounting team through growth
• Partner with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives
• Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for executives
• Drive finance transformation initiatives and best practices implementation

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required, advanced degree and CPA strongly preferred
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years of controllership experience
• Successfully led and closed at least 2 financial audits
• Expert-level NetSuite ERP experience, with proven track record leading month-end close processes
• Demonstrated history of process improvement and automation
• Exceptional project management abilities with proven success managing concurrent initiatives
• Proactive self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work independently
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment

The pay range for this role is:
190,000 - 220,000 USD per year ( Remote - United States )
