Financial Controller - Associate

You are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in Financial Control. You have found the right team.As a Financial Controller Associate in our Finance team you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with line of business controllers, middle office, and operations.
• Work with the businesses to ensure a clear understanding of the monthly profit and loss.
• Manage the monthly consolidation of the JPMorgan Chase income statement and balance sheet.
• Control post-closing entries and consolidation adjustments.
• Perform various control procedures to ensure the integrity of reported financial results.
• Participate actively in all aspects of the production of the monthly financial Flash Report.
• Support ad-hoc requests for financial information received from across the firm.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Minimum 3-years' experience in an analytical and financial role and should have worked on Banking products
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
• Proficient desktop/spreadsheet/database skills
• Ability to critically challenge with the goal of identifying control issues
• Ability to quickly understand workings of a complex processing system and general ledger systems across
  the infrastructure and their interrelationships and dependencies
• Basic understanding of the firm's products. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx will be an added advantage
• Bachelor's degree required, CFA/CMA/CA/MBA (Finance) an advantage
• Should be flexible to work in EMEA shifts
