PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Manager of Financial Investigations will be tasked with protecting the integrity of the Company's casino business and utilizing all resources available to assist the Company's business units in determining whether customer transactions may be considered suspicious. The position should possess a comprehensive understanding of the requirements delineated in US Title 31 and casino related suspicious activity. This position will be responsible for maintaining a strong Suspicious Activity review program, authored by the Company's AML Officer, to include Know Your Customer ("KYC") and Customer Due Diligence ("CDD"), for each gaming licensee and affiliate.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for overseeing the timely completion and filing of Suspicious Activity Reports with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). Ensures accuracy of SARs to be filed and assists the Compliance Director(s) in investigating and resolving issues of Title 31 compliance for all areas of the casino
• Conducts KYC Investigations on high value domestic and international patrons of the Company to determine whether there is reliable information indicating that such patron's source of funds were obtained by legitimate means or from legitimate sources
• Ensures that corrective measures are taken by operating departments for exceptions identified and issued through the course of the daily audits
• Manages FID Analysts and Specialists including training, evaluating job performance, establishing/modifying work schedules and reporting team's performance to the Executive Director and Director(s) of Financial Investigations.
• Assists the Financial Investigation Executive Director and Director(s) in the development of audit checklists, programs and/or guidelines and in identifying efficiencies to improve compliance processes
• Conducts extensive research using the Internet, subscription sites, internal systems, and spreadsheets.
• Assists Compliance Management with oversight and review of processing wires and checks in a timely manner while ensuring the company's third- party policy is being followed Perform other job-related duties as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in business management or related field or relevant experience
• 2+ years casino related audit experience & AML audit experience

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Nevada Gaming Registration and any other regional jurisdiction MGM Resorts operates.

• Strong leadership qualities, sound judgment, decision making and problem-solving skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products including TEAMS.
• Must be able to operate in a work from home environment.

• Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
• Able to speak public, in front of a group
• Extensive Knowledge of AML BSA laws, Title 31, Title 26, Regulation 22 and Suspicious Activity and Know Your Customer policies and procedures
• Working knowledge of casino systems and the overall function of auditing and investigation
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms
