Financial Operations Lead Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

Performs analysis that drives the alignment of Express Scripts client contracts and the pricing setup process to ensure we accurately implement our contractual obligations. Individual shall have the communication and problem solving skills necessary to work well both independently and with others to meet deadlines. This role focuses heavily on data analysis, root cause analysis, and management reporting. Interaction with key internal departments to validate contractual obligations in conjunction with the pricing setup intent. Areas include operations, legal, client audit, billing, pricing, and account management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for analyzing contract content with the pricing setup data gathered in the pricing setup process
• Responsible for maintaining a mapping of pricing setup information to client contract and various client setup systems
• Responsible for ensuring cross functional partners correct any pricing setup errors identified through the review process
• Assists in preparing recommendations regarding technology and process changes in support of achieving improved alignment between the pricing setup processes
• Provides input into the Contract Lifecycle Management tools, pricing & underwriting tools, and various enterprise applications
• Conducts special projects, analysis and process improvements as assigned
• Responsible for monitoring reports and proactively performing analyses and reporting findings to internal clients

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and accounting software packages; skills in Tableau is a plus
• Ability to handle analysis from issue identification to proposal of potential solutions
• Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Accounting and Financial Analytical skills
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written with presentation skills
• Project Management experience is a plus
• Very organized with strong attention to detail
• Self-starter and self-motivated
