Summary:

The Financial Lead Analyst will support the data quality monitoring, issue identification and resolution processes. Responsible for managing the quality of financial models and producing value added reports & analytics that support financial business decisions. Managing assigned tasks through the quality assurance, issue management and/or project life cycle. Consulting with SMEs to create test documents and reviewing the test results. Reporting, tracking and communicating status and issues, based on established test and validation models. Supporting administration and reporting of data quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with financial analysis testing of our Pricing models, which are primarily based in Excel and heavily supported by VBA.
  • Work with business owners to understand desired financial impact and test models for enhancements and new functionality added to support business objectives.
  • Create test cases for business owners to validate testing results.
  • Develop an expert knowledge of the primary tools & applications used within the FMA team.
  • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
  • Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.

Qualifications:

  • Exposure to change management within Finance and Accounting functions.
  • 2+ years of business finance or other relevant experience.
  • Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics are preferred major fields.
  • Proven work experience in a quantitatively heavy role.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in R and Python.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and VBA development.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 54,600 - 91,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
