Financial Planning & Analysis Manager
Job Description
Financial Planning & Analysis Manager
Financial Planning & Analysis Manager
Location: Isle of Man / Dublin / Leeds / London
Overview of the role:
We are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our busy and dynamic International FP&A team.
The Flutter International Division is passionate about achieving results from our growth strategy, both organically by investing in existing brands, and through mergers and acquisitions where we aim to continue a consistent track record of investment in high-growth businesses worldwide, making this an exciting time to join.
This role offers a hybrid working approach, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These arrangements will be discussed with your manager to find the best pattern for both of you, recognising that quality time together is crucial for maintaining alignment with our mission.
Our Isle of Man office is located just outside Douglas, overlooking King Edward Bay. We offer an on-site cafeteria, free gym facilities, and a games area where people can enjoy a game of pool, table tennis, or the occasional yoga class. This role can also be based out of our London, Leeds or Dublin office.
What you’ll do:
As the Commercial Finance Manager, you will play a vital role in integrating new acquisitions into the Flutter International finance ecosystem. You will work closely with the Head of FP&A to ensure a smooth onboarding process, acting as a key business partner to recently acquired brands within the division.
In collaboration with the Planning & Management Reporting team, you will be responsible for integrating these new companies into ongoing financial planning and performance processes. This will involve coordinating the annual budgeting process for these businesses, partnering with department heads to develop detailed budgets that reflect their specific needs.
To ensure accurate financial forecasting, you will prepare and maintain rolling forecasts that adapt to business changes and market conditions. By analysing budget variances, you will provide insightful recommendations to management to optimise performance. You will also develop and maintain key performance indicators and financial dashboards to provide clear and actionable financial data.
Furthermore, you will collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies and business plans that support the overall growth of the division. Building strong relationships with business leaders and local finance teams is essential. You will work together to ensure the onboarded brands seamlessly integrate into Flutter International’s operations.
Your problem-solving skills will be invaluable in identifying and addressing process inefficiencies and control weaknesses within FP&A for these new acquisitions. By collaborating with local leaders and teams, you will diagnose these issues and develop solutions that optimise financial processes. Keeping management informed of progress, you will provide regular updates, feedback, and reports to track the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
Finally, you will be expected to undertake specific ad-hoc reviews and other tasks as needed, demonstrating your adaptability and willingness to fully commit.
What you’ll bring:
-
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, etc.) with experience in FP&A.
-
Previous experience working in FP&A in a multi-geography e-business, entertainment industry, or global sports market would be preferred.
-
A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential. Experience working with platforms such as Oracle, Hyperion, Looker, and other BI tools is desirable.
-
Demonstrated business partnering, able to communicate financial performance to senior members of staff, simplify complex information, and influence decision making.
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
-
Excellent financial analytical and review skills.
-
Truly commercial mindset and adaptable to a global fast-paced environment.
-
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work both independently and as a team.

-
Ability to work in a fast-paced global organisation, engaging with multiple stakeholders whilst maintaining high-quality output.
-
High levels of personal integrity and ethics.
-
Ability to manage ambiguity, able to work effectively in uncertain circumstances.
It’s okay if you don’t think you tick every box on this list. We love people who want to challenge themselves and are passionate about what they do. If you believe you can contribute in some areas and are eager to learn, we encourage you to apply.
