Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (Hybrid)
Job Description
Summary / Objective
As the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager you will be a key player in the financial planning and analysis of our Registry business unit. This role will be responsible for partnering with Registry business unit leadership with an emphasis on GTM activities. The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager is a key contributor to budgeting, forecasting, decision support, and reporting for these groups. This role will own forecasting models for revenue generating activities and be able to leverage the data warehouse, BI, and other internal resources to improve the efficiency and accuracy of these models.
This position reports to the Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis.
What You'll Do
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Build and manage financial models to help drive budgeting and forecasting for GTM departments (bookings, revenue, operating expenses)
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights on performance and areas for improvement. Monitor key financial and operating metrics, proactively present reports with insights on variance and future impact to senior leadership.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to Registry leadership. This includes preparation of financial views for internal business reviews, variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting as necessary
- Data Analysis: Utilize the data warehouse using tools like SQL, Tableau, Thoughtspot, and Excel to advance the understanding of business performance, trends, and enhance predictions on future outcomes
- Financial Planning Software: Support Corporate Finance team in updating and maintaining forecasts and budgets in financial planning software
- Partnership: Develop strong working relationships with business partners and provide financial subject matter expertise
- Strategic Decision Support: Provide models and financial insights to support strategic initiatives and investments
- Other duties as assigned
Who You Are / What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience; MBA or CFA is a plus
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience
- Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to present and articulate financial information and complex models simply and concisely
- Highly flexible, comfortable with large amounts of information, adept at managing expectations, and able to set and adjust priorities as needed
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (Excel, NetSuite, Tableau), SQL experience is a plus
- Experience managing a small team is a plus
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to work across time zones as part of a global organization
Salary Range
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000 - $153,500 plus benefits as described below. In addition, the successful candidate will be eligible to receive other compensation from time to time in the form of discretionary and/or nondiscretionary bonuses and long-term incentive plan. Actual compensation will be influenced by a candidate's qualifications, internal employee equity considerations, and location. We will not ask for information about a candidate's current or past compensation for purposes of developing an offer of employment.
US team members (and their spouses, domestic partners, and/or dependent children) are covered by generously subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance which includes company contributions to a Health Savings Accounts. Team members are also covered by company-paid life and disability insurance and have the option of participating in employee-paid supplemental life, accidental death and dismemberment, critical illness, and accident insurance. In addition, team members can enroll in the company's 401(k) plan with up to a 5% match. You receive 15 days of paid vacation yearly, increasing to 20 days after one year. Additionally, you get 5 days of paid sick leave, 13 paid holidays, and 20 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents, 12 weeks for others. Also, there's an opportunity for tuition reimbursement for qualifying expenses.
