Summary:

The FP&A Analyst (FPA) provides financial planning and analysis to support continued profit and productivity improvement for the business. This person is a key member and partner with business unit leaders and supports multiple functional areas including but not limited to Finance and Operations. This role will be on-site 2 to 3 days per week in our Huntsville, AL office.

Description:

• Supports the regular financial processes for the business including closing the books, forecasting, planning, reporting, and analysis of results.
• Monitors orders (including backlogs), sales, profit, and cash to targets on a weekly basis.
• Assist to streamline and improve efficiency on project costing, reporting and forecasting.
• Responsible for tracking key levers to improve Working Capital and other key financial metrics.
• Leads the design, development, deployment and maintenance of all internal FP&A Reports.
• Extracts and populate financial data from various finance and information systems including OneStream and divisional ERP as required.
• Assist with initiatives to streamline & automate financial reporting and data analysis processes.
• Assists in the preparation of the monthly forecast and Quarterly Business Review for all functional areas of the business and related subsidiaries. 
• Prepares and consolidates financial statements and ad-hoc financial analysis to support senior management on meeting target objectives.
• Participates in the annual strategic planning and budgeting processes including establishing assumptions, spreadsheet modeling, consolidation, analysis and presentation preparation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business related field required, Accounting or Finance preferred. 
• Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience preferred. 
• Experience in preparing, analyzing, implementing accounting and reporting requirements required.

• Proficient experience in project-based accounting preferred.
• Experience with PC and ERP system usage preferred.

• Excellent computer skills, including high proficiency in OneStream and Microsoft Office Applications preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Works effectively in a team environment, within and outside of the Finance Department.
• Consistently operates at the highest level of integrity and is never willing to compromise with regards to ethical standards.
