This role sits at the intersection of finance and clinical operations, supporting service-line performance within a complex healthcare environment.
You will act as a key financial partner to operational leaders, translating data into insights that directly influence patient care, staffing, and growth decisions.
The position is highly analytical and hands-on, with ownership of revenue, expense, productivity, and margin analysis across assigned areas.
You will drive monthly performance reviews, strengthen forecasting accuracy, and ensure financial data reflects real operational activity.
A strong focus is placed on identifying performance gaps, improving reporting quality, and standardizing KPI frameworks across teams.

Accountabilities:
- Serve as the primary financial partner to assigned service lines, supporting end-to-end financial performance management across revenue, expenses, productivity, and margins.
- Lead monthly business and performance reviews, translating financial results into operational insights and actionable recommendations.
- Conduct variance analysis, validate financial results, and support month-end close activities including corrections and reporting accuracy.
- Develop, maintain, and standardize KPI frameworks (e.g., revenue per unit, cost ratios, productivity metrics, staffing efficiency, and margin analysis).
- Partner with clinical and administrative leaders to support decisions related to capacity, staffing models, access, and growth initiatives.
- Integrate external benchmarking data to identify performance gaps and recommend improvement strategies.
- Improve data integrity, reporting structures, and alignment between financial systems and operational activity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, healthcare finance, or data analytics roles.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and performance reporting.
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical/modeling skills with ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Experience working in healthcare, academic medical centers, or similarly complex environments preferred.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems such as Epic, Workday, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with ability to translate financial insights for non-finance stakeholders.
- CPA, MBA, or progress toward certification is preferred.
