Financial Reporting Manager
Job Description
The Financial Reporting Manager acts as a trusted advisor to the Pavilion Payments leadership team, providing analytical insight to build and maintain reporting models, influence change, drive revenue growth, and help achieve financial targets. Responsible for oversight of all financial reporting aspects of the business including, but not limited to, financial statement reporting, general close responsibilities, variance analysis vs budget and forecast, revenue initiatives, and delivering monthly reporting. This is a vital role with high visibility to the executive leadership team and will be called upon to deliver accurate financial results in a timely manner.
- Manage and prepare detailed internal/external monthly financial reporting, including researching and explaining variances by working closely with various departments and management.
- Assist and analyze financial statements monthly, including income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows.
- Research trends on income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow items utilizing various systems and information sources.
- Review, investigate, and correct inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
- Interpret and analyze financial information posted to general ledger accounts.
- This role will act as a financial advisor to support an array of projects within Pavilion Payments and will be called upon to be a finance representative on various high priority initiatives.
- Perform quality assurance and deliver recurring reports accurately and on time.
- Provide assistance to the VP/Corporate Controller and Accounting department on key accounting tasks/deliverables.
- Play a key role in updating and developing new financial reporting framework within our General Ledger.
- Excellent written and speaking skills including preparation and presentation of verbal and written reports, presentations, and recommendations.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in order to meet individual goals and deadlines.
- Provide ad hoc financial reports, tables, exhibits as requested.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the technology or gaming industry.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in financial software applications
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite ERP
