Financial Reporting Manager

We are looking for Financial Reporting Manager to join our Finance team.
Major Responsibilities:
- Prepares consolidations, financial statements in accordance with GAAP, disclosures and financial exhibits
- Prepares financial reports (i.e. Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow statements) for management, lenders and investors
- Manage monthly consolidation and elimination process
- Manage Global Chart of Accounts
- Prepares supporting schedules, reconciliations and supporting package for all reports
- Key contributor and liaison between Company and outside accounting firm for the annual audit matters
- In-depth technical proficiency of GAAP Codification. Research, analyze and apply changing Codification and support position through a written memo.
- Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
- Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls
- Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting periodic internal audits as needed
- Implement procedures to reduce costs, and discrepancies and improve efficiencies and profitability of the company
- Assist senior management in the execution of special projects
- Hire, train and retain competent accounting team members
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
Education and/or Experience:
- BS in Accounting or Finance is required.
- Advanced degree, CPA and/or MBA is preferred.
- 6-8 years of progressive experience in a management role with at least 3 direct reports
- Thorough current knowledge of current GAAP pronouncements
- Applicant must have deep operational knowledge of all accounting processes within the retail (multi-location) or similar industry
- Applicant must have experience working in multi-currency environments

Organizational Relationships
- Reports to the Assistant Controller
- Key member of the Finance/Accounting team
- This position has 3-4 direct reports
- Liase with local International Team
