Responsibilities:
- Assist team with preparation of SEC filings, involving quarterly and annual financial reports, proxy statements, 401(K) statements and other regulatory filings, as necessary
- Prepare various schedules and variance analysis to be used by management, the board of directors and independent auditors
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly close schedules
- Performance of controls around financial reporting activities
Requirements:
- At least 1-3 years of experience
- Experience with and understanding of SEC filings (i.e. 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.) is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA is a plus
- Strong aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail
- Desire and ability to work in a team environment and communicate well with others
- Possess strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficient or advanced in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with Oracle is a plus
- Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate
