Financial Services Industry Solution Lead, Professional Services Organization

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience performing customer-facing services focused on translating Financial customer needs into cloud solutions.
• Experience in the Financial industry developing solution architectures that integrate fragmented customer systems.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Preferred qualifications:

• Direct experience in the financial services industry or in an indirect consulting capacity.
• Deep understanding of Financial services use cases such as AML, Fraud, Mortgage lending, FI call center operations and understanding of how ML can help solve these industry use cases.
• Understanding of security controls in a highly regulated environment.
• Familiarity with Machine learning capabilities (e.g. Doc AI) to support Financial services use cases (e.g., Know Our Customer (KYC), Insurance underwriting, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Fraud Detection scenarios, etc.).
• Demonstrated cloud solution architect capabilities with a broad set of Financial use cases.

As a Financial Services Solution Manager within the Professional Services Organization (PSO), you will work directly with Google Cloud's strategic Financial services customers, with PSO team members aligned to Financial Services, and Financial Services focused Product, Engineering and the Partner Teams to build scope and implement Google Cloud's priority Financial Services Industry Solutions.

You will work cross-functionally with Sales and Google Cloud Customer Experience to provide pre-sales support for Industry Solution scoping and technical design and statement of work (SOW)/proposal development for Google's largest customers. You will also help define services staffing plans and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep expertise in financial services Industry solutions and advocate Google's solutions among Google's customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead the scoping and technical delivery of complex Industry Solution engagements covering program assurance, verification, and validation - driving exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Work with sales/partner leads and technical stakeholders to translate complex customer requirements into appropriate Industry Solution architectures, SOWs, project and staffing plans.
• Work with product and engineering teams to develop Industry Solution delivery strategies and methodologies; consolidate lessons learned into a curated knowledge base to support global scaling of Industry Solutions.
• Recommend and document migration paths, integration strategies, and application architectures required to successfully implement complete solutions using best practices on Google Cloud.
