SUMMARY

Due to growth, GCM Grosvenor is hiring a Financial Systems Administrator in the Finance department of a dynamic alternative investment management firm. The primary function of this newly created high profile position is to provide the Accounting and FP&A teams with OneStream administrator and implementation support. In addition, this person will support the current PeopleSoft administrator in ongoing maintenance activities.  


The Financial Systems Administrator will effectively partner with various internal and executive stakeholders (Accounting, FP&A and Technology) and build strong relationships to drive change and ensure all requirements are met on time, at or within budget, with effective delivery and maintenance of OneStream functionality. GCM will embark on the implementation of a Cloud-based General Ledger within the next 12 to 18 months and this person will be integral in both the software and implementation. In the interim, this person will support the current PeopleSoft administrator in maintenance activities. In addition, the Financial System Administrator will also assist with ongoing updates, development, and maintenance of OneStream as the primary platform for financial reporting and consolidation.



RESPONSIBILITIES           

  • Support the day-to-day operations management of the OneStream Environment and other related products as the primary reporting/consolidation platform.
  • Participate in the design, build, training and roll out of new modules.
  • Collaborate with various organizations through the company on metadata management.
  • Work collaboratively with Technology Leadership, business stakeholders and implementation partners to deliver OneStream Marketplace solutions to meet requirements of current and future business needs.
  • Create, maintain and update financial reports and forms.
  • Proactive in identifying, recommending and developing system improvements.
  • Develop and maintain ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and management reports.
  • Develop and maintain data sources, business rules, transformation rules and workflow profiles.
  • Assist in defining test plans and test scripts to be used in IT and business user testing.
  • Troubleshoot system errors and document consistent problems for future enhancement(s).
  • Follow IT change management, incident management and problem management policies and procedures.
  • Management/maintenance of system integrations data dependencies.
  • Refresh test environments as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Information Technology.  
  • 5+ years of experience with financial reporting / consolidation software such as OneStream, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), or other EPM solutions. OneStream experience is preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of finance, accounting, internal control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proven track record in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves, work in a lean environment with hands-on management capacity and desire.
  • Technical experience with designing, maintaining, & integrating financial system solutions based on business requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills; well organized and self-directed with excellent analytical, documentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership skills, articulate and excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated, balanced with high standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
  • Ability to manage different stakeholders and communicate effectively.
