About this Position

The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for administering Primerica's core financial reporting systems to meet the reporting needs of the organization. The analyst ensures that all maintenance and reconciliations will be completed accurately and timely, and all system changes are properly authorized. Analyst will also participate in semi-annual financial system updates, testing, documentation and training.
This is a hybrid position that requires working onsite in the Duluth, Georgia office and remotely multiple days each week.
The estimated salary range for this role is: 65K - 80K

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Add or change data elements, monitor data loads and enter matching rules. Perform assigned testing tasks of all system changes and maintaining SOX compliant records of all work
• Prepare daily balancing of front-end system loads into general ledger and reporting tools. Identify and correct errors, notify management of issues, and maintain SOX compliant records.
• Prepare general ledger account reconciliations, verify accuracy of data, and report, identify, and correct errors. 
• Monitor monthly completion of account reconciliation process, including notifying users and management of outstanding items. Follow up with users as needed to ensure deadlines are met. Notify Controller of completion status on deadline.
• Assist users with navigation, questions, system issues and proper use of functionality.
• Review semi-annual updates to financial systems, determine impact on Financial Business Processes, and test functionality. Update any necessary documentation or business processes affected by system updates. Develop and conduct any new training required for users.
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, IT or other related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 year experience required
• Advanced Excel skills
• Workday financials and Blackline experience preferred
