Job Description

The Financial Systems Integration Specialist is responsible for operational and technical support of data streams from multiple source systems into an Oracle database. Solving problems and implementing solutions that arise during the day to day operations. Oversees the automated delivery of financial information distributed by various reporting methods. Provides end user support primarily to the financial and management accounting staff and secondarily to other departments of the bank. Performs regular maintenance on key dimensional data. Assists developers with projects and performs deployment of new code and or objects into production.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will manage and monitor all production processing to support financial and management accounting data requirements. You will manage and maintain scheduled jobs that load extract files or pull from other databases that have business logic applied to transform data into information.
  • You will troubleshoot errors and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve problems.
  • You will manage the integration of general ledger and customer account data for funds transfer pricing, cost accounting processes, variance analyses, portfolio analyses, and account profitability information.
  • You will support user base by helping research data questions, resolve trouble tickets and perform routine software installs.
  • You will maintain key dimensional data for the general ledger chart of accounts, organizational hierarchy, and a reporting product dimension that is sourced from various other systems.
  • You will develop and implement ad hoc processes to present new or non-standard information needed to support accounting operations, special projects or regulatory compliance.
  • You will support Web-based applications developed in Apex with potential for developing new applications.
  • You will implement process improvements and modify integrate feeds as needed.
  • You will validate data streams from a variety of internal and external sources for use in financial accounting and management accounting applications and in distributed information delivery while adding new validations as needed.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of (a/an) Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science or related field of study and / or 2+ years of directly related experience in Data Integration, Database Management Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
