Financial Systems Manager

The Financial Systems Manager oversees the administration and reconciliation of data feeds into Workday. This position involves participating in the implementation of time-sensitive and complex financial projects. Attention to detail and a thorough knowledge of complex financial systems are essential for this role.

Key Accountabilities/Deliverables

• Oversee system reconciliations to confirm data feeds are accurate and complete, and handle error corrections when necessary.

• Serve as the intermediary between Finance users and the Workday configuration team, providing recommendations and solutions for business requirements.

• Participate in complex, time-sensitive financial projects involving extensive data analysis

• Establish and sustain relationships with internal stakeholders

Technical Knowledge and Understanding:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills

• Financial systems operation knowledge

• The ability to work with and analyze large quantities of data

• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage time effectively

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields strongly preferred

• 3+ years of progressive experience in insurance accounting or financial system roles; P&C experience preferred

• Prior experience participating in large scale financial system implementations

• Prior experience in staff management is preferred
