Job Description:
- Contribute to the strategic vision and roadmap for critical finance systems with other business systems and processes that enable the business to execute its strategy and priorities.
- Analyze frameworks and methods to understand current state; prioritize requirements, identify gaps, propose improvements and optimization opportunities, evaluate solution alternatives, identify and design future state, and drive consensus to achieve an agreed upon set of requirements.
- Involvement in RFP’s for projects requiring new financial software solutions and/or consultant services.
- Ensure financial systems projects are scoped properly, delivered on time, and within budget
- Assist in managing data, security and legal governance processes and adherence of controls and guidelines for financial systems. Protect data integrity and drive alignment across other business systems.
- System Administrator for NetSuite, as well as other finance systems, which would include managing users, roles, settings, changes, etc.
- Manage financial application relationships, subscriptions and renewals as needed.
- Problem-solve development and implementation issues; continuously identify and correct data issues. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and provide timely responses and solutions as required.
- Document and maintain system architectural designs and diagrams and understanding of dependencies and controls; perform data audits and validation.
- Train financial application users on new tools, updates and changes to existing tools when applicable.
- Create and manage project plans with clearly defined deliverables and resources, coordinate workstreams and dependencies, track and communicate progress, and identify obstacles and ensure they are addressed.
Requests:
- BA/BS degree
- 5+ years in a finance or business systems role where you are solving problems, managing projects and implementing technology solutions (Bonus points for also having accounting experience as this will help you better support the business processes)
- 2+ years experience serving as primary NetSuite administration with responsibility for configuration, customization, and management of the technical application.
- Strong project management skills
- Highly resourceful, self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership in areas of responsibility
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sense of humor
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Organized and self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- High degree of integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information.
