What You’ll Do:
The Financial Systems Manager will be responsible for ERP implementation activities related to inventory items, costing, bill of material cost rolls, labor and overhead routings, production order processing, all aspects of inventory and cost variance reporting.
- Work directly with Cost Accountants to calculate cost of Labor and Overhead and setup within the system.
- Act as an intermediary between business unit and IT to help Cost Accounting Team achieve their desired outcomes.
- Must support QA efforts through building testing plans, scenarios, and scripts; actively participate in unit and system tests while coordinates user acceptance testing.
- Assist and coordinate the data preparation as required for QA and UAT processes. Cost Categories, Active Cost, Cost Calculations.
- Review Formulas for accuracy and submit change requests for updates.
- Working with IT, provide support on triage, bug fixes, enhancements, end-user support, and application monitoring.
- Work with IT on FDD documents for Reporting requirements.
- Work with Document Control and Item Standardization team to set up tracker and implement process for new Items.
- Assist with Setup of New Items and adding cost in the system.
- Assist with Close of ERP Legal Entities, doing Closing preparation analysis, as well as pulling and setting up standard reporting.
- Train Cost Accounting Staff and work closely with supporting them through go-live of legal entities.
- Train and work with upper management on Reporting process for Inventory reporting.
- Participate in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) projects, including planning, project management, requirements, design, conversion, testing, and implementation.
- Ability to engage with finance / Cost accounting stakeholders and influence project decisions; assess the risks of various solutions and prioritize competing business demands.
- Work alongside IT to gather requirements pertaining to accounting and finance team ERP / system needs and document current and future state processes.
- Distill requirements into implementation plans and execute.
- Assist with ad hoc requests and special projects.

Who You Are:
- Five or more years of experience working in a Business / Financial Systems type role/manufacturing.
- Must have experience working on an ERP implementation and system configurations, creating SOPs, handling large data sets, and creating reporting solutions.
- Must have experience with Microsoft products - Excel, Word, Power BI, Dynamics D365, Dev Ops
- Preferred experience working on an ERP implementation with focus specifically on costing/inventory/manufacturing modules/set-ups.
- Experience as a business partner to a finance/accounting organization
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information technology or other relevant field, preferred.
- CPA/ CMA is a plus.
- Cost accounting and cannabis experience is a plus.
- Must be team-oriented and self-motivated.
