Job Description

Within the Business Systems and Solutions department, you will work closely with internal customers, developers and team members with aim to enhance processes through client-oriented solutions, improve overall information system’s efficiency, and create value providing/ensuring adequate finance processes and tools.

The primary focus for this position will be to maintain application configurations, testing, support (issue management, request fulfillment) and provide expert analysis for the current Oracle Hyperion applications with participation in the new OneStream implementation. Additionally, knowledge and support of ERP Oracle E-Business Suite and related tools will be required (40%).

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide system administration, functional, technical support and training for finance systems
  • Contribute to finance processes, monitoring and efficiency and policies standardization
  • Manage Oracle Hyperion products and integration to a multitude of ancillary systems, including Oracle ERP, to meet user needs and enhance processes
  • Controlling through Hyperion administration (new needs from BL’s, corporates, monthly closing steps…)
  • ERP accounting support through Oracle for accounting closings, trainings & day-to-day troubleshooting needs
  • Change/Incident Management-create content and provide dedicated communication to customers, coordination with external support for issue resolution
  • Participation in the consolidation and controlling project to implement Onestream
  • Development of detailed test plans and required documentation including, but not limited to, functional specifications, process flow diagrams, etc.

Qualifications

  • Finance background: at least 4-5 years of experience. Accounting or controlling is a preferred background, but not limitative.
  • Minimum of at least two years working experience in performing business analyst functions with proficiency in one of the following areas or tracks:
    • Perform administrator functions in Hyperion Planning
    • Experience in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
    • Hyperion applications development with experience scheduling jobs and data loads.
    • Development of Essbase calc scripts, business rules and planning Web forms.
    • Thorough knowledge of Smart View, Workspace and Planning front-end experience.
    • Must be comfortable migrating metadata/data/objects between environments.
  • Able to design and challenge finance processes and to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions
  • Ability to consider transversal finance matters (treasury, accounting, controlling and tax)
  • Familiarity with OneStream application desired, but not required
  • Working knowledge of Oracle finance systems will help for support, but not required
  • Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to quickly interpret and gather requisite information.
  • Ability to work well with people in all levels of the organization and handle a fast paced, dynamic environment where competing interests and working multiple priorities is the norm
  • Excellent organizational skills, promote teamwork, problem-solving, and understanding of systems engineering concepts
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Project) preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including technical writing skills.
  • Eager to learn with ability to take on new subjects, as needed
  • Organized, self-driven and client oriented
