Qualifications
To qualify for this position your resume and supporting documents must show that you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level or equivalent to at least GS-06 under other Federal service pay systems, private sector, or military.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Examples of qualifying specialized experience:
- Knowledge of automated accounting and budget systems to reconcile errors that require an understanding of nonstandard procedures or to provide assistance in the development of automated procedures for clerical operations.
- Reviews and audits reports, listings and payroll changes for errors.
- Determines that all transactions are properly processed and expenditures do not exceed pre-established control totals.

- This position requires access to one or more ADP IT Level II systems with access to confidential information such as social security numbers; therefore the incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance eligibility based on appropriate background investigation.
- This is a Financial Management Level 1 Certified position UP of the National Defense Authorization Act (NOAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d. Incumbent shall comply with the requirements of this certification program.
