Financial Wellness Specialist

The Financial Wellness Specialist develops and delivers program content that helps our stakeholders- team members, members and community, improve their financial lives. This position coordinates and facilitates webinars, in-person presentations and workshops, videos, and other presentations delivered to diverse audiences. Under the direction of the AVP Engagement and Education, the position liaises directly with non-profit and business partners participating in our educational outreach programs and delivers content to their constituents instructing them on practical information that helps them improve their financial wellbeing.

What you will do here:

Program Management:

Provides dynamic adult financial wellness education for general audiences and unique client populations (in-person and virtual); utilizes tactics that appeal to different learning styles, ages, experience and confidence levels

Develops education plans and customizes content to instruct for results

Delivers exceptionally impactful and effective instruction that leads to practical learning and behavioral transformations in participants

Partner Engagement:

Collaborates with internal and external subject matter experts and partners to develop education plans and content, identifies outreach strategies to maximize the number of individuals reached with relevant information, and to deliver measurable results

Participates in project meetings to support multiple financial wellness efforts, evaluate the effectiveness of the program, identify new opportunities with businesses and non-profit partners, gather information for program reports and helps support event logistics

Researches and recommends best practices in financial literacy education, and assists the team in identifying new solutions to expand financial wellness outreach

Maintains current knowledge and understanding of education and financial trends, and local market community needs

Performs other duties as assigned.

What you will need:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field preferred; Equivalent combination of education and experience required.

2 or more years of experience facilitating workshops or classroom education required.

2 or more years of experience developing in-person adult learning content required.

1 or more years of experience developing digital content and webinar facilitation preferred.

Demonstrated interest and passion for financial wellness required.

Excellent presentation and communication skills and comfort working with diverse audiences. required.

Demonstrated understanding of curriculum design and delivery principles for adult learning and content development concepts required.

Proven ability to develop learning plans for results required.

Effective time and work management of multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines required.

Demonstrated success in developing digital content and facilitating webinars preferred.

Bilingual-Spanish-English preferred.

Valid Arizona driver license. Motor vehicle record will be screened and the incumbent must meet Company guidelines. required.
