Finish Carpenter

Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and the ability to work with precision to create high-quality finishes in residential and commercial projects. This role requires a commitment to craftsmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. Duties • Install fabric, stretch walls, acoustic panels, acoustic ceilings, doors, windows, and cabinetry with accuracy and attention to detail. • Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure proper installation and fabrication of carpentry elements. • Fabricate custom woodwork, including trim, moldings, and built-ins as per project specifications. • Ensure all installations are plumb, level, and square to maintain structural integrity. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project timelines are met efficiently. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience • Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter, Division 9 trades, or similar role in the construction industry. • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials. • Experience in commercial projects. • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately is essential for this position. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for delivering high-quality work. Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week Schedule: • 10 hour shift • 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
