Role: Finops

Location: NY-Remote

• Develop cost management processes and controls to provide ongoing cost transparency, governance and facilitate optimal resources utilization for AWS, Azure, M365 and on-premises infrastructure.

• Identify cost saving / optimization opportunities and liaise with technology team and finance teams to provide execution & forecasting support
• Oversee vendor incentives and guidance for incentive application (e.g., Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, credits, Spot instances, etc)
• Provide insights into cost spends across various cost centers on a weekly cadence with appropriate spending optimization strategies.
• Experience with a multi-account AWS environment, including working with services like EC2, RDS, S3
• Experience with a multi-subscription Azure environment, including working with services like Azure Files, Azure Netapp, Azure VMs and various Security tools
• Understand rightsize recommendations and being able to weight the risk to work/cost ratio with implementation
• Experience with native and 3rd party cost management and advisory tools (AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, Apptio Cloudability)
• AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification (a plus)
