What weβre looking for:
The Fintech Credit Card Analyst will be responsible for reviewing, assessing, and monitoring credit card policy and credit strategy change requests. Additionally, the Fintech Credit Card Analyst is responsible for creating reports to gain insights into risk profiles and activities as well as set up new oversight reports that will be used for decisioning in the Fintech credit card product space.
The Fintech Credit Card Analyst will perform day-to-day reporting activities to monitor and make visible the risks in consumer and business credit card and credit line lending across platforms. Additionally, the role will require to interact with multiple teams across the organization such as BaaS, BI/Data, IT, and Accounting to complete reviews and establish monitoring tools and reports. The team is looking for an analyst that is a creative, ambitious self-starter with a deep entrepreneurial spirit, which can adapt quickly to the fast-changing environment in Fintech Banking.
Responsibilities:
- Review, assess and monitor credit card policy and credit card strategy changes
- Complete a thorough, in-depth analysis of all credit card and strategy change requests
- Drive the production of presentation materials that capture key lending risk insights and oversight reports in a thoughtful and compelling manner. Prepare supporting material for management meetings and Fintech lending platform reviews.
- Develop and present compelling dashboards and automated reporting related to key performance credit card metrics.
- Provide analytic support via hands-on Excel work while leveraging other tools (Tableau, Domo, PowerBI, SQL, etc.)
- Use analytical and statistical techniques to solve complex problems and drive business decisions.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in credit card field (Fintech experience preferred) with focus on credit change management and assessment of change requests
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or Business is preferred
- Has a solid understanding of credit cards or other credit products and the regulatory requirements that govern them.
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as AWS QuickSite, Tableau, Domo
- Some knowledge of statistical programming languages (e.g. Python/R/SQL) is a plus.
- Writing SQL to query relational databases; knowledge Python/R is a plus
- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships both externally and internally.
- Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, data tables, macros, statistical functions)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage data, data inputs, processes, and projects.
- Creative, ambitious self-starter with a deep entrepreneurial spirit
